By the early 2000s, the cinema had fallen into disrepair and ceased operations. However, a large-scale restoration, which began in 2002 with the participation of international specialists, returned Pobeda to its former glory. Thanks to the preservation of historical elements and modern technical upgrades, the cinema became a center for cultural events, including not only film screenings, but also concerts, master classes, lectures, and meetings with famous directors. The interior was completely reconstructed, and the exterior of the building was preserved almost in its original form. The restoration work was completed in 2006, and since then, the Pobeda cinema has become one of the most popular cultural sites in Novosibirsk.
